Summary for chapter 3
When Scout starts a fight with walter at lunch, Jem stops the fight and invited them back to his house for lunch. Scout keeps criticizing the way Walter eats and she was scolded by Calpurnia.
In school, Miss Caroline treated Burris Ewell, who is from a poor family really badly and he was send home by her. When Burris leaves, he shouts harsh words at Miss Fisher that made her cry.

Summary for chapter 4
While walking home Scout finds two pieces of gum in the tree on the edge of the Radley's lot. Later on, she and Jem find two pennies in the same tree. They do not know who was leaving all of the things behind.
When summer ends, Dill went back and they started to create games to have some fun. During a game, Scout was rolled onto the Radley's lawn while she was in a tyre. Atticus told the three of them to stop what they were doing and Scout advised Jem to listen to Atticus, but Jem was thinking otherwise. But Scout is afraid because she heard someone laughing inside the house when she was rolling in the tyre.
