Chapter 5
Scout is now spending more time with their next door neighbour, Maudie. Maudie asked Miss Atkinson about the Radley's and she said that the Radley's are very strict Baptists and they stay away from people for religious reasons.
Dill, Scout and Jem is still disturbing the Radley’s. One day, the three of them decided to give a note to Boo Radley, while Jem tries to slip the note into the house, Dill and Scout will keep on a watch. Before they could run away, they were caught by Atticus, and they were warned by Atticus not to disturb the Radley's anymore.
Chapter 6
On Dill's last day in Maycomb, the three of them decided to disturb the Radley's for the final time. When they were standing near the Radley's windows, they saw someone in the yard and that someone was walking towards them, the three of them quickly run out towards the gate, as they were running, gunshots were made. When the children return to the street, they see a large crowd gathered in front of the Radley’s house.
Atticus notices that Jem has no pants on. Dill quickly came up with a story that he won them from Jem in a poker game.
