vast- a very great area
Eg: They owned a vast peice of land which they decided to turn into a skatepark.

*magisterial- to rule in an arrogant manner
Eg: His magisterial behaviour was getting on our nerves.

prolonged-a lenghtened duration
Eg: The party was prolonged, much to the delight of everyone.

*pestilence- something that is considered harmful/evil
Eg: His bullying of little kids was considered a pestilence in the eyes of the teachers.

inhabitant- someone who inhabits a place
Eg: The inhabitant took my room and I had to sleep on the living room floor.

*bridgework- a dental bridge
Eg: I found it gross when Jane showed us her bridgework at the dinner table.

*cordiality- an expression of sincere feeling
Eg: He expressed his cordiality to Jacob.

benevolence- desire to do good to others
Eg: His benevolence made his mother's heart melt.

*reaped- to obtain as a result of effort
Eg: I reaped the opportunity to go to England after completing my assignment.

*morbid- gruesome
Eg: His morid act landed him in jail for life.

*communion- association
Eg: We were not allowed to have any communion with them.

incomprehensible- cannot be understood
Eg: It is incomprehensible how he managed to survive that fall from the 86 story building.

ravelling- entangling
Eg: I was bored and decided to start ravelling string.

huddle- to gather together
Eg: Matt ordered everyone to huddle for a quick briefing.

placidly- peacefully
Eg: The water flowed placidly.

trudged- to walk wearily
Eg: Tired, he got up of bed and trudged down the stairs.

inquisitive- curious
Eg: Since young, he was a very inquisitve person.

**edification- the act of instructing someone morally
Eg: -

*quibbling- using irrelevant language or arguements to evade a point at issue
Eg: Her quibbling wasn't going to work.


*earshot- the distance in which a sound can be heard
Eg: The earshot between Joseph and Lisa was too far apart for them to hear each other.
