Chapter 7:

1. Why do you think Nathan Radley put cement in the oak tree hole?

In the book, its says that the tree was sick so he insert some cement in the tree hole. In my opinion, Nathan was suspecting something that was not true. He was giving reasons to cover up on what he had done.

Why did Nathan say that the tree was dying?

This made me wonder why did Nathan say it was dying when the tree was as healthy as ever. It had green leaves and full, there was no brown patches. Does the cement has anything to do with the health of the tree.
